Jasmine Filley is the Regional Coordinator for the Douglas County
Perkins Consortium and the Dual Credit/Perkins Coordinator for Umpqua Community College. Before working in CTE, she
started the Eastern Oregon University Southern Valleys Regional Center for Distance Education in Douglas County,
taught learning skills for UCC and high school biology. Jasmine has a B.S. in wildlife and political science from OSU
and an Masters of Arts: Teaching from University of Portland. She currently sits on the Dual Credit Oversight
Committee in addition to the OACTE Board.

Ray Hasart is the CTE Regional Coordinator for the High Desert ESD. The
HDESD region includes Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson, Lake, Gilliam, Wheeler, and Sherman counties, as well as Central
Oregon Community College. Prior to coming to the ESD, he taught Manufacturing Engineering at Redmond High School for
16 years. He started his teaching career in Oregon at Gilchrist High School in 1984. He received his BA from Eastern
Washington University. In 1996 he was the Oregon Teacher of the Year and in 1997 he was the recipient of the Milken
Award.

Steve Schilling is the Regional Career and Technology Education (CTE)
Coordinator for the Southern Oregon Educational Services District (SOESD). Prior to this, he taught for 11 years,
Computer Assisted Design (CAD) and Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) manufacturing at Newbridge High School
located within the Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility in Grants Pass.
Before entering the classroom Steve spent 20 years working in the building trades.
His background includes, welding and fabrication, rough and finish carpentry, HVAC systems, residential electrical,
landscape and irrigation and business. He is continuing to serve as a facilitator/trainer with the Math in CTE
project. His formal education includes an A.A. Industrial Arts, B.A. Psychology, Technology Education teaching
license, Perkins manufacturing endorsement, and a M.A. Leadership and Administration.

Mark began work with the Lane Education Service District School Improvement
team in the area of Career and Technical Education in 2001. In this capacity, he has created a series of regional student
competitions pairing students with industry professionals, develop monthly business tours for students in high
growth/high demand industries, and lead the coordination of the Lane County Youth Career Fair bringing 2,300 students
from 16 school districts, 75 exhibitors, and 100 volunteer mock interviewers together for one day of career
exploration.
He also worked with stakeholders in his area to create a regional hub for youth career information and opportunities
with the creation of a web site (lanecareerfocus.org). Although in different career areas, Mark has continually
steered toward training opportunities.

Kuli'a Ferguson is currently an Assistant Principal at Aloha High School (AHS)
in the Beaverton School District. Kuli'a has been at AHS for 15 years, starting as a teacher (Child Development, Foods,
Marketing, Hospitality & Tourism, Interior Design, Business and Sheltered learning classes). Her current focus is
implementing the use of Proficiency credit, Career Related Learning Experiences, Essential Skills and the Education, Plan
& Profile diploma requirements.
Kuli'a came to education after a career in the hospitality industry; working in hotels, restaurants and the airlines. She
earned a Bachelor of Business Arts from the University of Hawaii-Manoa, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Oregon State
University and an Administrative Certification from Lewis & Clark College. She is currently working on her Doctorate
in Education from the University of Oregon.

Lynn is employed by Portland Community College as the Regional Coordinator
for Washington and East Columbia counties. She has worked as a Biology and Science teacher in grades 6th through
12th, taught at several community colleges in Oregon and has been a guest speaker at PSU and WSU in science teacher
education and habitat restoration courses. Lynn has worked at both the regional and state level of government in helping
teachers and local partners understand the importance of authentic education for students. Lynn has a Bachelor's
degree from Portland State University and an MAT from Lewis and Clark College.

Marilyn Cooley has been a CTE Educator for 25 years and was a Resource Room
Instructor for six years after she earned a Masters Degree in Special Education. Marilyn is a Professional/Technical
Education and Family and Consumer Studies instructor at South Eugene High School teaching Child Psychology, Advanced
Child Psychology, Market and Fashion Design and Merchandising. Marilyn is the Director of “Kids Down South” a
campus preschool, a member of South Eugene management team for the past 15 years and the Department Head for Applied
Tech. She was former faculty president and vice president and founder of ASAP Peer Education. Marilyn is a member of
OACTE, ACTE, NAEYC and EEA.

Liz Rommel has served as the School to Careers Coordinator at North Eugene
High School (NEHS) for 13 years. Liz has been with the 4J school district for over 20 years as an active parent volunteer
and employee. Liz is a long-time member of the OACTE and has been a strong supporter, facilitator and leader of CTE
program creation, implementation and continuation throughout the NEHS, 4J school district, Lane County and the state. She
is also an active participant in the Lane County and 4J School to Work teams, Lane County Youth Career Fair Planning
Committee, 4J Graduation Requirements Committee, Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Framework Cohort D Team, NEHS
Positive Behavior Support Team, NEHS Site Council Member. She is also a member of the following Program Advisory

Todd Frimoth is currently a Teacher Communication Specialist in the Beaverton School District in the
Department of Teaching and Learning. He has been an elementary and middle school classroom teacher for 21 years in Beaverton, Sherwood and in
three locations internationally. He also worked in college admissions at his alma mater for nearly six years before starting his teaching
career. Todd has a Bachelor's degree from Whitworth University, MAT and Initital Administrator's License from Lewis & Clark College.
Currently, Todd is the Project Manager for the TeacherSource project in Beaverton, which is an
emerging, web-based collaboration and instructional materials portal supporting all teachers in the District. This portal directly supports
CTE teachers and other curricular areas. Todd is also an adjunct instructor in the Graduate School of Education at Lewis & Clark College
in Portland.

Dale is employed by Linn-Benton Community College as the Regional Coordinator for
Career and Technical Education. He started his 28 years in education in Alaska teaching in a middle school comprehensive
shop program. He also taught high school fine woodworking, communications technology, drafting and engineering. He was
the school districts Vocational Coordinator and the Coordinator of Distance Education and Instructional Technology.
Dale has served as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Alaska teaching AutoCAD at the local community
college. He received his B.S in Vocational Education and M.S. in Technology Education from Western Washington
University.

Laura McCoid is a research assistant at the University of Oregon. She works
closely with middle and high schools, community colleges, and colleges as a User Services Representative for the Oregon
